Why did you choose WVU School of Dentistry to earn your dental hygiene degree?
I chose WVU because I wanted to go outside my comfort zone and flourish in a big environment. There’s so much possibility here with meeting people, getting involved and having access to opportunities you might not be able to get at other schools. I just knew it would suit me.
What school related events or activities did you enjoy most and why?
Undergrad research day at the West Virginia capital was one of my favorite activities I got to participate in throughout my time in the program. I love my class, so the fun we got to have traveling there together are memories I’ll forever cherish.
What are you excited for next?
I’m excited to be one of the few in my family with a college degree! Next, I plan to relocate to North Carolina to pursue my career following getting licensed. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for me and to start living my life outside of school.
