Student Profiles

We beam with pride when we see how our dental and dental hygiene students transition into oral healthcare professionals during their four years at our dental school.
Each one comes to us with a different story behind their motivation to earn a degree and ultimately become Mountaineers.

Their future plans vary just as much.

Upon graduation, it is encouraging to see how our students will use their degree.

We have dental hygiene graduates who go straight to work in a private practice or community health centers.  Others opt to further their education to earn a master's degree to be able to teach in higher education. It is also not uncommon to find some of our dental hygiene graduates applying for dental school when they complete their bachelor's degree.

The students who complete our DDS program can choose similar paths. Many join private practices. Some invest in their own practice. Many choose to further their education to specialize in specific areas of dentistry.

Their stories will inspire you.
