Why did you choose to earn your dental degree at WVU?

West Virginia has always been my home. When it came to undergrad and then again dental school, there was no question WVU was where I belonged.

What surprised you about your dental school experience?

The people are what most surprised me. The students, the staff, the faculty. So many people have made such an impactful impression in my life over these years and I wouldn't be here without them.

What school related events or activities did you enjoy most and why?

American Student Dental Association (ASDA) was a huge part of my dental school experience.  I held multiple positions over the four years including, President my 3rd year.  I learned so much and was given the opportunity to meet so many other dental students across the country.  ASDA also gave me the opportunity to meet a lot of WV dentists, including those who are heavily involved in organized dentistry among our state and on a national level.
