What made you want to earn your dental degree?

I come from a family of dentists, including my dad, grandfather, uncle and brother. My dad is one of my biggest role models and is the person who inspired me to fulfill my dream of becoming a dentist.

As a soon-to-be graduate, what is your best advice for incoming School of Dentistry students?

One of the most important pieces of advice I can give to an incoming dental student is to not compare yourself to others. Everyone has their strengths, as well as their weaknesses - these will more than likely be different from your own and that’s okay! Additionally, do not be afraid to ask for help. Your faculty, as well as your classmates, are great resources. Be sure to use them while you have the chance!

What are you looking forward to next?

I’m excited to finally start my career as a dentist and use the knowledge WVU School of Dentistry has given me these past four years to improve the lives of others.
