Dr. James and Mrs. Karen Caveney Dentistry Scholarship

This fund will be awarded based on the following criteria:

West Virginia Resident students enrolled at West Virginia University.
Professional student in the School of Dentistry DDS program.
Student shall be making satisfactory academic progress and demonstrate financial need as determined by the WVU Office of Financial Aid.
First preference for students who are residents from the following counties:
- Marshall County, WV
- Ohio County, WV
If there are no qualified students in these counties, a student meeting the criteria from West Virginia maybe be selected.
A student who is a recipient one year is eligible for consideration in any other year provided they continue to meet the selection criteria outlined in this Agreement.
Recipients shall be selected by the appropriate officials in the School of Dentistry and approved by the WVU Office of Financial Aid.
