Ann Vargo Rogers Scholarship

Ann Vargo Rogers was a 1972 graduate from Oak Hill, West Virginia. In 1996, her brother, Dr. John Vargo, who graduated from the DDS program 1982, established a scholarship in her name to be awarded to a student who displays Ann’s pleasant and respectful demeanor.

Qualifications

Funds shall be used annually or otherwise for student scholarship aid in the Department of Dental Hygiene within the WVU School of Dentistry. The recipients shall be regularly enrolled undergraduate or graduate students at WVU in the Department of Dental Hygiene. The recipients shall be graduates of a West Virginia high school and shall have demonstrated a need for financial assistance as determined by appropriate officials of the School of Dentistry in consultation with the WVU Office of Student Financial Aid. Scholarships shall be awarded in the name of the honoree, Ann Vargo Rogers.
