Pediatric Dentistry

Infinite Possibility

As the first – and only – pediatric dentistry residency in the state, the program supports the University’s land-grant mission to advance education and healthcare in West Virginia, expanding the reach of specialized dentists to its youngest residents.

Purposeful Partnerships

As a land grant University, it is upon us to advance education, healthcare and prosperity for all. Through unique service learning opportunities, School of Dentistry students learn the needs of the state and how to work in diverse settings as oral health advocates.

Outreach and Advocacy

School of Dentistry students must accumulate 100 hours or more of community engagement work prior to graduation. They have opportunities to work with the school's more than 30 service projects that match their interests.
