Dental school alumni association message to graduates

Greetings to all!

I hope that this time brings all of you good health and all of you are coping and faring well at this most critical period of time. The School of Dentistry and all of us have faced so many new challenges during this COVID-19 crisis.

As the president of the Alumni Board of Governors, I would again like to express my gratitude to the School of Dentistry for the diligence shown during this most difficult time.

On behalf of the alumni, I would also like to congratulate the recent graduates, including both DDS and Dental Hygiene, and wish you well as you enter the next chapter of your exciting careers.

I’m extremely proud of all of you. There is no doubt you will leave this institution prepared for the practice of dentistry, dental hygiene or to pursue further professional goals. The educational preparation that you have received at our fine school is second to none.

Further, I encourage all of you to continue to maintain these important WVU relationships that you have made by remaining active alumni. These relationships with fellow classmates, colleagues and faculty remain so very important to me, and that is why I feel privileged to remain active in our alumni association, and urge all of you to do the same.

Congratulations and Best Wishes!

Michael P. George, D.D.S.
