Locker Project

Students initially embarked on a mission to prompt a makeover of the area known as the dental student hallway. It leads to the main student clinic, simulation labs and classrooms and is lined with student lockers. The lockers had remained unchanged since 1957.

Dated lockers line the dental student hallway.

But, in October 2019, an informal ribbon cutting and celebration marked the removal of the old and the installation of the new.

Dental student hallway received a makeover improving the floor, walls, ceilings and lockers.

A project that began as a structural improvement  became a place for a sentimental walk down memory lane. School of Dentistry donors have adopted new lockers to leave messages for current students, memorialize a classmate and mark class memories.

Supporters sponsor new student lockers.
