West Virginia’s cybersecurity and technology communities will come together on Oct. 28 in
Morgantown for the 2026 Mountain State Cyber Summit + Tech Yeah, a new collaboration
designed to connect leaders across different industries.
The one-day event will combine the Mountain State Cyber Summit and Tech Yeah, creating a
larger forum for participants to exchange ideas, build partnerships and explore emerging
challenges and opportunities in cybersecurity and technology.
The summit will focus on topics including cybersecurity, technology innovation, workforce
development, digital resilience and leadership. Organizers say the collaboration will strengthen
connections among organizations working to advance West Virginia’s growing cyber and
technology ecosystem.
More than 600 attendees from federal and state agencies, private industry and higher education
are expected to participate, according to event organizers. Attendees will have opportunities to
learn from industry and government leaders, connect with potential partners and engage with
students and emerging professionals entering the technology workforce.
