Daniel Pustay, MD, is a psychiatrist who completed psychiatry residency at Georgetown University.

Darval Hutchinson, DO, is a pediatric emergency medicine physician. He completed a pediatrics residency at the University of Texas and a pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at the University of Mississippi.

HEART AND VASCULAR INSTITUTE

J. Hunter Mehaffey, MD, is a cardiothoracic surgeon and co-director of research in the Division of Cardiac Surgery. He completed cardiothoracic surgery fellowship, surgery and CT surgery residency, and cardiovascular research fellowship at the University of Virginia. He also earned a master’s degree in clinical research from UVA.

Bilal Jalil, MD, is a cardiac intensivist. In the cardiovascular intensive care unit, he will be a member of the Heart and Vascular Institute Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic. He is formerly of Premier Lung and Sleep Specialists affiliated with Baylor Scott & White in Texas.

Alexey Sergeev, MD, PhD, is an electrophysiologist. He led the Cardiac Electrophysiology Department at Lapino Medical Center in Moscow, Russia. He has also worked for the principal center for cardiovascular surgery in Russia - Bakulev Scientific Center for Cardiovascular Surgery.

Salahuddin Safi, MD, is a hematologist/oncologist specializing in blood and marrow transplant. He completed a fellowship at WVU.

Himanshu Deshwal, MD, is a pulmonary critical care physician. He completed a pulmonary critical care fellowship at NYU Grossman School of Medicine.

Natasha Campbell, MD, is a former assistant professor of internal medicine at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine at Seton Hall/Jersey Shore University Medical Center. She completed her residency there as well.

Haroon Ahmed, MD, is a pulmonary critical care medicine physician. He completed a pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at WVU and an internal medicine residency at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Michael Ebbert, DO, is a general and sports neurologist. He completed sports neurology fellowship at LifeBridge in Baltimore, Maryland, and neurology residency at WVU.

Adeel Memon, MD, is a neurologist specializing in movement disorders. He completed a neurology residency and movement disorders fellowship at the University of Alabama.

Jessica Frey, MD, is a neurologist specializing in movement disorders. She completed a movement disorders fellowship at the University of Florida and a neurology residency at WVU.

Phong Vu, MD, is a neuroradiologist. He completed an endovascular surgical neuroradiology fellowship at WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute, vascular neurology fellowship at the University of Minnesota, and neurology residency at WVU.

Peng Cheng Han, MD, PhD, is a neuropathologist. He completed neuropathology fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis and an anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. He has a PhD in neuroscience from the University of Utah.

Tony El Jabbour, MD, is a pathologist. He completed a liver pathology fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital, molecular and genetic pathology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering, and gastrointestinal and liver pathology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center, all in New York. He completed anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Albany Medical Center .

Kelsey Haarbauer, MD, is a neonatologist. She completed a neonatology fellowship and pediatrics residency at WVU.

Ting Cheng Hsiesh, MD, is a pediatric cardiac intensivist. He completed a pediatric critical care medicine fellowship at American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. He completed a pediatrics residency at Brookdale University Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Elizabeth Brigham, MD, is a pediatric intensivist. She completed a pediatric critical care fellowship at Johns Hopkins and pediatric residency at Penn State Children’s Hospital.

Beth Vettiyil, MD, is a radiologist and former chair of Ancillary Department of Radiology and Pathology, Centra Southside Community Hospital, in Farmville, Virginia. She completed musculoskeletal imaging fellowship at MD Anderson and radiology residency at the University of South Alabama.

Halil Uygur, MD, is a plastic surgeon who completed craniofacial-maxillofacial surgery fellowship at University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He did a burn reconstruction fellowship at University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston. He practiced as an associate professor with the Department of Plastic Surgery at Koc University Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey.

Majed Maalouf, MD, is a plastic surgeon who completed microsurgery fellowship at University of Tennessee and breast reconstruction fellowship at Mercy Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Prior to fellowship training, he practiced as a general plastics and reconstructive surgeon with UPMC.
