West Virginia University School of Dentistry offers several advanced education programs for dentists who are interested in a career beyond general dentistry. Qualified dental school graduates can earn a Master of Science in Endodontics, Orthodontics, Periodontics and Prosthodontics

Additionally there are post doctoral residency opportunities in General Practice Dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and an internship opportunity in oral surgery.
