Celebrate 20 years of the Women in Science and Health Committee

Join a panel discussion to celebrate the success of the Women in Science & Health (WISH) Committee over the past 20 years on Thursday, March 23, at 4 p.m. in Fukushima Auditorium, HSC-North.

Panelists

Rashida A. Khakoo, MD, MACP
Khakoo is a professor and section chief of infectious diseases in the School of Medicine and assistant vice president for faculty development at WVU Health Sciences. She has been instrumental in developing the interprofessional Teaching Scholars Program and the WISH committee.

Shelia S. Price, DDS, Ed.D., MA
Price leads WVU's dental admissions, recruitment and multicultural programs. She has over 25 years of experience in dental education and is a former chairperson of the WISH committee.

Mary Beth Mandich, Ph.D., PT
Mandich is a professor and the vice dean of professional and undergraduate programs. She joined WVU in 1995 and has been instrumental in the development of numerous degree programs.

Julie Lockman, Ph.D.
Lockman currently serves as assistant vice president for graduate education at WVU Health Sciences. She has been active in research training and basic science education for over 15 years and has served as WISH chairperson, vice-chairperson and executive committee member.

Gina Baugh, Pharm.D.
Baugh serves as the director of interprofessional education (IPE) for WVU Health Sciences. As the director, she oversees the IPE efforts in the didactic, simulation and clinical practice settings for all health professional students.

Tina Antill Keener, Ph.D., RN, CPNP, CNE
Antill Keener draws upon her experiences as a primary care nurse practitioner to provide education in the School of Nursing as an educator and researcher. She is a HeartMath Certified Trainer and Certified Nurse Educator (CNE).
