Leading to Dentistry

Students considering dental school take a variety of paths to get there. Katelyn Pinti prepared for the professional health program by studying exercise physiology as an undergraduate.

Oral Health Our Priority

The dental school fosters an exemplary learning environment that is supported by excellence in oral healthcare education, clinical experiences and research. Ultimately, our goal is to be the dental school of choice for students, faculty, staff and patients.

Pediatric Dentistry

Developing a Residency

We are upgrading and expanding our pediatric dental clinic in preparation for a new residency program that will help meet oral health care needs for a growing number of Mountain State children.

Purposeful Partnerships

As a land grant University, it is upon us to advance education, healthcare and prosperity for all. Through unique service learning opportunities, School of Dentistry students learn the needs of the state and how to work in diverse settings as oral health advocates.

Outreach and Advocacy

School of Dentistry students must accumulate 100 hours or more of community engagement work prior to graduation. They have opportunities to work with the school's more than 30 service projects that match their interests.
