2023 marks the 30th anniversary of the Department of Dental Practice and Rural Health rural rotation program. Providers from private practices across the state host dental and dental hygiene students.
Overview
More than 90 dental offices across West Virginia welcome dental and dental hygiene students for several weeks at a time for their rural rotation. Students are given an opportunity to become intimately involved in the day-to-day dynamics which uniquely affect the management of rural private dental practice.
