Dear School of Dentistry WVU Medicine employees,
We are pleased to pass on an announcement from WVU Health Systems.
Eligible employees may notice an addition on their pay on Friday, March 27, 2020.
Albert Wright, Jr., President and CEO of the health system, announced eligible WVU Health Systems employees will receive:
$250 for eligible part-time staff
$500 for full-time staff.
The dispersal is in lieu of an additional contribution the system had originally planned to make to 403b retirement savings accounts. His message came with a note of further acknowledgement for your “great work during a very stressful time.” The dispersal is in lieu of a previously planned contribution to 403b retirement savings account.
Ineligible WVU Health System employees include:
-Employees whose date of hire is on or after 1/1/2020
-Employees eligible for other incentive programs including Leadership & APP programs and
-Casual employees who worked less than 1,000 hours in 2019.
