Study on digital health literacy published by School of Dentistry researchers

A recent study by researchers in the West Virginia University School of Dentistry was published in PLOS Digital Health.

R. Constance Wiener, D.M.D., Ph.D., professor and chair of the Department of Dental Public Health and Professional Practice, and Bayan Abuhalimeh, D.D.S., a resident in the periodontics advanced education program, published their study titled “Evaluating adult digital health literacy, 2020–2025: A systematic review.” Their research examined an area that is critical for the public when making healthcare decisions in an increasingly digital environment.
