Faculty

Dr. Jennifer Hill is an associate professor and Chair of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at WVU School of Dentistry.  She earned her D.D.S. from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, her Doctorate Medical Dentistry (Dr.med.dent.) from the University of Ulm in Germany and her PhD in Philosophy Oral Biology from University of Iowa College of Dentistry. Dr. Hill also earned a Certificate of Orthodontics at the University of Ulm, as well as a Certificate of Advanced Education in General Dentistry and a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry.  Dr. Hill was on faculty at the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston and Georgia Regents University College of Dental Medicine in Augusta, serving as Chair of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry from 8/2012 – 12/2013 before coming to WVU. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
 
Dr. Hill serves as a member of the Editorial Board for Pediatric Dentistry, the journal of the AAPD. She is a member of the American Dental Association, American Oil Chemists Society, American Association for Dental Research, American Association for Cancer Research, and the American Dental Education Association.
 
Dr. Hill is active in the community through programs such as Give Kids A Smile, Special Olympics and the March of Dimes.
 


Dr. Michael Bagby is a professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at WVU.  He earned his D.D.S. from Loyola Dental School in Chicago in 1978.  Dr. Bagby went on to earn his M.S. and Ph.D. in Biological Materials from Northwestern University in Chicago.  He taught at the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry from 1985 to 1990 before coming to West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 1992.  Dr. Bagby is a Fellow of the Academy of Dental Materials and the American College of Dentists.  He also serves on the ADA’s National Board Part II Test Construction Committee.
 
Dr. Bagby is co-author of the text book, Clinical Aspects of Dental Materials; now in its 4th edition, and was a member of the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry from 1985 to 1990.  He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Dental Education Association, International and American Associations for Dental Research, American College of Dentists, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Academy of Dental Materials, serving as treasurer from 2000 to 2004.


Carrie Hazey D.D.S. graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Loyola College in Maryland and obtained her dental degree from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 2003. Along with teaching part-time in the Pediatric Dentistry Clinic, Dr. Hazey also is in private practice as a general dentist in Clarksburg, WV.

 

Dr. Angela London, a Clinical Assistant Professor, teaches part-time at the WVU School of Dentistry Department of Pediatric Dentistry. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the Pennsylvania State University, her D.D.S. from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry and completed a General Practice Residency from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Hospital Dentistry. Dr. London’s experience includes that of a general dentist in private practice, teaching and public health.


Dr. Bridget Stevens, is from Charleston, WV and obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in biology and D.D.S from WVU.  She practices in Dunbar, WV as well as teaching Part-time in the Pediatric Dentistry Clinic.
 

Dr. Jennifer Harr received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from St. Vincent College in 2007 and her dental degree from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 2011.  Dr. Harr works part-time as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the WVU School of Dentistry, Department of Pediatric Dentistry.  Along with teaching, she also works in a general dental practice in Uniontown, PA.


Dr. Allison Wilson, DDS is originially from New Cumberland, WV and graduated from Oak Glen High School.   She earned her BS in biology from Wheeling Jesuit University in 1998 and her doctorate of dental surgery degree from West Virginia University in 2002.  Dr. Wilson also is in private practice in Morgantown, WV.
