UK / Europe Tour 2010

I was Key Note Speaker at the 18th International Symposium on Dental Hygiene, “Oral Health – New Concepts for the New Millennium,” at the Scottish Exhibition Centre, Glasgow Scotland, July 1-3, 2010. My presentation title was “The New Frontiers of Biofilm Management: Restorative Microbiology and Tailored-Comprehensive Oral Care (T-COC).” Spent last few days in Scotland and in the Scottish Highlands, with visits to Loch Ness, Loch Lomond and in the northern city of Inverness.

Followed with return visits to Cardiff and points west in Wales, with our dear friends in Bury Port and London, with final deportation from Manchester, England to Cork, Ireland to Barcelona, Spain.

Was the Key Note Speaker for Satellite Symposium, Barcelona, Spain on July 15th for IADR (International Association for Dental Research); presentation entitled “New Scientific Trends in Oral Biofilm and Bacteremia Research: The Link to Systemic Disorders and Solutions to Clinical Practice.” The title of my presentation was “Biofilms and Disease Transmission: The Perfect Partners” but it didn’t really matter, as we arrived on the Monday after Spain defeated Holland to win the World Cup! It was our second visit to Barcelona and it was a little nicer, given it was Summer and the weather was beautiful, but the Mediterranean was COLD!
