Dental Hygiene Program Continues Winning Tradition - Awarded 2nd Place in Research Poster National Competition
 
Three Dental Hygiene graduates (Class of 2012) were awarded second place during the American Dental Hygienists' Association's research poster competition in Phoenix, AZ.   Amie Carilli, Jordann Mitchell, and Courtney McKown's  research poster entitled "Garlic and Lime: A Natural Antimicrobrial Mouthrinse" was well received by judges, other participants, and those attending Annual Session. This is the second year in a row that WVU Dental Hygiene has placed second in the research poster competition. This continues the remarkable winning tradition of WVU Dental Hygiene students being recognized with top awards 28 out if the last 30 years.
