    WVU Dental Care will celebrate National Children’s Dental Health Month by offering free examinations, cleanings, appropriate X-rays, and fluoride treatments to children ages one to 17 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 19 in the WVU Pediatric Dentistry Clinic at the WVU Health Sciences Center.

    The Health Disparities Working Group at West Virginia University is pleased to announce the start of their spring seminar series. The seminar series kickoff event will take place on Tuesday, February 2 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Barnett Board Room of the Erickson Alumni Center. We are pleased to welcome Rahul Gupta, MD, MPH, FACP, commissioner of the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Services Bureau for Public Health, who will speak about health disparities in West Virginia and how the WVU community and WV Bureau for Public Health can positively impact the situation. This event is open to all those interested in health disparities research. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served. Please RSVP for this event here.
