Class of 1967
Pete Myers retired from the US Navy in 1995 and moved to Hallowell, ME in 2009. He made a visit to the dental school on July 2011.
Class of 1969
Jack and Marilyn Frieman celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a gift to the WVU School of Dentistry and taking their two daughters, husbands, and four grandchildren to the Atlantis Resort in Nassau.
Class of 1970
Marilyn Sue McIntyre Robertson
After 41 years of nearly continuous practice, Marilyn will be retiring in 2012. Her and her husband are building their retirement home in Fredericksburg, VA. They celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in Bermuda last May.
Class of 1971
Rebecca has retired after 40 years of practice in Hospital Dentistry at WVU and the VA Medical Center in Clarksburg, WV .
Danny Chandler sold his practice in August to Dr. Jenni Henderson (WVU 2009). He is looking forward to retirement.
Class of 1977 & 1986
Greg Lacy received the Pierre Fauchard award from the WV Chapter of the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He also received the SAO Citizenship Award from the Southern Association of Orthodontists.
Class of 1977
Dr. Frank Lipsinic, 1977, attended the March ADEA Meeting in San Diego and accepted the IFDEA's (International Educator's) Orna Shanley Prize for the Oklahoma University College of Dentistry's long-term community service project, the dental clinics at the Oklahoma City's Good Shepherd Ministries. Frank has been the College of Dentistry's Faculty Coordinator, and Dental Director of Good Shepherd, for the past 12 years. Good Shepherd currently has free dental clinics serving the metro area 3 nights a week during the school year.
Class of 1983
Doug Gray recently spent 2 weeks in Ghana Africa working with the Alliance for Smiles. He is still living and practicing in York Harbor, ME with his wife Bobbie.
Class of 1985
Robert (Bob) Wilson, JR is currently serving as president of the Maryland State Dental Association. He is the first WVU grad to be named as the MSDA president. His term will end in September 2011.
Class of 1987
Casey Crafton currently resides in Chevy Chase, MD with his wife Lisa and their 3 children, Christopher (13), McKenzie (11) and Gabriella (7). He practices with his wife, a general dentist in Columbia, MD. He is also an attorney with Offit-Kurman based out of Baltimore.
Class of 1994
Stacey (Cripe) Yoder has been off of hygiene work since 2009 to stay home with the kids, Sam (5) and Sawyer (3.5). She is starting to home school them and is a certified massage therapist which she does out of her home. They have been in their new home for 2 years and are very happy on the farm!! What a great life! She is also a high school swim coach.
Class of 2001
Bridget (Boyce) Holmes and her husband (Alan) are expecting their first child (a girl) in October 2011.
Stacia (Salerno) Talkington and her husband John had their third child in March. Stacia works part-time in pediatric dentistry in Gettysburg, PA.
Greg (2001) and Sharleen Toone (2002 DH) continue to reside in Lynchburg, VA where they are in private practice. Their sons are 8 and 10. Greg is the proud owner of 150,000 bees – yes, thoroughly enjoys beekeeping.
